What this can't tell you
These are adjusted odds ratios from one national veterinary-record study, not a lifetime-risk percentage for your individual dog. A breed not listed means the study didn't find a significant difference from crossbred dogs — not that the breed is risk-free. The same study also found bodyweight itself matters a lot: dogs over 40 kg had over 11 times the odds of dogs under 10 kg, and dogs heavier than their own breed's average weight had roughly double the odds of lighter dogs of the same breed. Weight you can influence; breed you can't — a diagnosis still needs a vet exam, not this table.
